“Sigue el llanero, el llanero sigue”

These are the digital footprints of a Genízaro man whose work is intimately connected to his parientes in the Rio Chama and Taos valleys of northern New Mexico, and a mal-criado who strides along the disciplinary boundaries of sociocultural anthropology, Mexican American and Latinx Studies, and Native American and Indigenous Studies.

As these digitized ripples resonate through the electronic sea of cyberspace, they serve as textual “selfies” of a Genízaro Being that is, in fact, being–in all His fortuitous flaws and feeble fortunes.

Como me dijo mi antepasado: “Sigue el llanero, el llanero sigue…”
